What time is it?
Time tells you when something is going to happen – when you eat, go to school, or play with friends.
Use a clock and watch to find out the time.
Numbers show the round face of the clock.
Numbers from 1 to 12. Some watches display 24 hours a day.
Hand – A moving stick that points to numbers.
Watch
An analog clock has a hand that displays time (like a wall clock).
Digital clocks indicate the time (for example, 7:45am or 10:30am). = 30 minutes
1 hour quarter = 15 minutes
There are 24 hours a day:
Morning and 12 hours in the afternoon
Evening and evening (PM)
Example: Early morning at 7am. It means evening at 7pm. Example: If a short hand points to 4, the time is 4 OH. 20

Example: If a long hand shows 6 points with 6 points, it means 30 or 30 minutes. Oclock
If your small hand points to 12 points, say “o clock.”
4 Quarter
When a fine hand reaches 3 (15 minutes), it says one-hour of one-hour.
When the minutes of the ON: Midnight (12:00) to 12:00 PM
Tomorrow and before lunch
Afternoon: 12:00 PM to midnight (12:00 PM)
Afternoon, evening, evening
Example: 10:00 PM
Numbers are displayed on the digital clock. 3pm (in 24-hour format)
