Food networks are made of many food chains that are connected together.

Simple definition:
Food networks show how different plants and animals are connected depending on what they eat.
Example:
Foxes can eat both rabbits and mice, while falcons can eat mice, snakes and rabbits too.
This creates a network of connections.

Differences between Food Chains and Food Networks

Many ways to show that connections are easier, more complicated and branched

First Eater.
It’s removed or corrupted, so anyone else could have an impact on it.
Example:
If all the rabbits disappear, the fox may not be able to find food. Chain

Sometimes people can change or damage food chains:
Cutting trees (forest rot)
Destroy many animal homes.
Environmental Pollution
Kill dirty water and fish.

Jagd
Reduce the number of animals.

Climate change
Changes that animals and plants can live in.
Nature must be protected to keep your food chain safe!

Recycling and reuse plants and gardens
plant cultivation
Lions sleep up to 20 hours a day despite being the best predators!
Decomposition is done by the natural cleaning staff of the Earth.
Some snakes can eat animals larger than their heads!
Without the sun, there is no food chain.
One tree can support hundreds of insects and birds.

Animals
Decomposers destroy dead plants and animals.
It all starts with the sun and ends with decomposition, and the nutrients return to Earth.
From small grasses to big lions, everything is important!
When you take care of nature, your food chains remain strong and healthy.
We will become heroes of the Earth and protect our animals, plants and ecosystems!
